Workshops

Each series begins with a short (20-minute) pre-session, held about two weeks before the (first) workshop. During this time, students can anonymously submit their questions.

This step does more than just prepare the workshop — it helps students feel comfortable with me, shows them that their voices matter, and gives them a safe way to raise questions they may not ask elsewhere. For schools, it means the workshop is not only tailored to students’ needs and interests but also aligned with the school’s context and policies. In practice, this approach has led to highly engaged sessions and, in some cases, even requests from students for follow-up workshops.

Fearless Talks workshops are inclusive, age-appropriate, and student-driven. Each session creates space for honest, respectful conversations about sexuality and relationships, while providing information that students can trust.

Workshops last 90 minutes, which allows enough time to share knowledge, do an activity, and close with discussion. I keep sessions flexible: if one topic sparks particular interest or more questions come up, I take the time to explore it.

Workshops typically combine:

• Knowledge and facts

• Interactive activities (e.g., quizzes, group brainstorms, role-plays, perspective-taking)

• Discussions shaped by students’ own questions

From the very beginning, I set a respectful atmosphere: mocking and teasing are not tolerated, and open, inclusive language helps every student feel comfortable.

Students leave my workshops with:

• Answers to their real questions

• Greater comfort talking about sexuality and relationships

• Awareness of where to find trustworthy information and support

• Confidence in shaping their own views and decisions

Schools can book workshops:

• Individually (a single session on a specific topic or a general session)

• As part of a curriculum (recommended: at least two workshops per school year)

Fearless Talks offers engaging, age-appropriate workshops that build on each other throughout the secondary school years. My priority is to provide schools and students with relevant workshops right now, while also working towards a clear vertical curriculum that can be used across all year levels.

Fearless Talks workshops give students the space to explore important topics such as consent, online safety, relationships, and identity in a respectful and supportive environment.

This curriculum is being developed step by step, based on experience in classrooms and guided by UNESCO’s Comprehensive Sexuality Education framework. In this way, Fearless Talks combines practical workshops today with a long-term vision for consistent and reliable sexuality education for every student.
